William David Friedkin (Chicago, 29 de agosto de 1935​- Los Ángeles, 7 de agosto de 2023)​​ fue un director de cine y televisión, productor y guionista estadounidense.​ En 1971 obtuvo, con 35 años, el premio Óscar por su película The French Connection.​ A lo largo de su trayectoria obtuvo además premios y nominaciones en certámenes como los Globo de Oro y en festivales como Cannes, Locarno, Sitges o Venecia.​

Entre sus películas destacan The Night They Raided Minsky's (1968), Los chicos de la banda (1970), The French Connection (1971), El exorcista (1973), Sorcerer (1977), Cruising (1980), Vivir y morir en Los Ángeles (1985), Jade (1995), Rules of Engagement (2000) y The Hunted (2003).​

Kitty Stephen Hawks (born February 11, 1946) is an American interior designer living in New York City and Westchester, New York. She is the daughter of New York socialite Slim Keith and film director Howard Hawks and is married to Larry Lederman, a photographer and retired corporate attorney. She was previously married to Ned Tanen from April 11, 1976, to December 30, 1983.

Jennifer Nairn-Smith is an Australian-born dancer, actress and choreographer. She was a member of the New York city Ballet from 1963 to 1968, at Lincoln Center, NYC. She trained at choreographer's School of American Ballet before being accepted into the NYCB. Her teachers there were Madame Felia Dubrovska, Muriel Stewart, Madame Danilova, Pierre Vladimirov, Stanley Williams. George Ballanchine.
