Actuó inicialmente en obras de teatro de secundaria, y estudió en la Universidad Estatal Wright antes de abandonarla para seguir una carrera musical junto a la banda de rock estadounidense Days of the New y más tarde realizó una audición para Popstars, convirtiéndose en miembro del grupo de chicas Eden's Crush.
