Anna Wintour DBE (Hampstead, Londres, 3 de noviembre de 1949) es una escritora, periodista y directiva británica que ejerce como editora jefa de la edición estadounidense de la revista Vogue desde 1988.

Ha llegado a convertirse en un auténtico icono de la moda (tal y como lo hizo Diana Vreeland, una de sus predecesoras), así como a ejercer una influencia importante sobre dicha industria. Además de su puesto como editora general de esa publicación, desde 2013 se desempeña como directora artística de todas las publicaciones del grupo editorial Condé Nast.

Anna Wintour inspiró el personaje antagónico de la novela The Devil Wears Prada (El Diablo Viste de Prada en España; El diablo viste a la moda en Hispanoamérica), obra de la escritora estadounidense Lauren Weisberger, donde se narran las experiencias reales vividas por la misma escritora cuando trabajó para la revista Vogue a las órdenes de Anna Wintour. La novela fue llevada al cine en el año 2006 en la película homónima donde el personaje que inspiró Wintour fue interpretado por Meryl Streep, quien ganó el Golden Globe y fue nominada al Óscar por su actuación.

Nigel Richard Patton Dempster (1 November 1941 in Calcutta, India – 12 July 2007 in Ham, Surrey) was a British journalist, author, broadcaster and diarist. Best known for his celebrity gossip columns in newspapers, his work appeared in the Daily Express and Daily Mail and also in Private Eye magazine. At his death, the editor of the Daily Mail Paul Dacre was reported as saying: "His scoops were the stuff of legend and his zest for life inexhaustible".

Piers Paul Read FRSL (born 7 March 1941) is an award-winning British novelist, historian and biographer. He was first noted in 1974 for a book of reportage Alive: The Story of the Andes Survivors, later adapted as a feature-film and a documentary. Read was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge where he studied history.

Among his most popular works are The Professor's Daughter, A Married Man, and A Season in the West. In addition to his written works, Read is also a dramatist and television scriptwriter. In recent years, he has produced a number of authorized biographies and popular history books which are intended for a general audience. Read has worked and lived in both the United Kingdom and the United States, where he published many of his recent works. Read was awarded the Sir Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize for The Junkers; the Hawthornden Prize and Somerset Maugham Award for Monk Dawson; the Thomas More Medal for Alive; the Enid McLeod Award for The Free Frenchman.

Richard Clive Neville (16 December 1941 – 4 September 2016) was an Australian writer and social commentator who came to fame as an editor of the counterculture magazine OZ in Australia and the United Kingdom in the 1960s and early 1970s. He was educated as a boarder at Knox Grammar School and enrolled for an arts degree at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
